Okay???!! To be frank, it's hard for most white people to understand ( I was trying not to sound hateful by saying that earlier). Black people understand and know the mixes that go into being creole. But white people in Arizona? How 'bout no. Most of them are either from Utah or from the Midwest ....like Michigan...or Wisconsin and most are Mormon. The whole creole thing is lost on them entirely.
I do understand the meaning behind African-American. The blood line goes back to the mother land and that in it's self has to count for a lot more than what we give it credit for!! The blood that flows through a lot of us no matter how much you have runs back to the first people on the planet.

If you're a 100% white male or female then your nipples would be pink with matching aereolas and if the candidate wasn't then they would be any degree of a varying shade of brown.
