I've been away FAR too long....

Just stopping by to tell you all that I'm back on the scene. I think of you often & mull over the old posts, etc.  I've done a lot of soul searching & I'm beginning my weight loss journey....again.  The surgery for me is NOT covered so it's not a possibility for me,  no matter how many letters I write, tears I shed or tantrums I throw.  So I'm going to become accountable to OH & do my darndest to keep up w/you LOSERS! (said VERY lovingly)   I'm also going to start jotting down some of my thoughts/feelings/food choices on my profile, kinda like an online-diary to keep me motivated. I've gotta encourage myself no matter what. Your thoughts, advice & prayers are most welcome!
Two of my best friends just had the surgery - I'm VERY happy for them, I'm a bit jealous but THRILLED for them. They are out-of-state so I'm trying to keep the ties-that-bind STRONG!

Welcome back!  You were missed.  I'm sorry your insurance doesn't cover WLS. 
I pray that refocusing on your journey (taking another route) works well for you.  Accountability does wonders so don't give up!

  hey there!!!  Sorry to hear it's not covered - I hate that insurance companies are closing the gap on that fast and furious - it's open enrollment time here and I looked briefly at our 2010 plans - they made sure to state WLS is NOT covered...... ~smh~ 

anyway - don't be a stranger and keep ya head up!!!!!
