Morning Yall
I figured it's the last run for week 3 I'm gonna really push myself and good. So I did 3 extra runs just like on run 2, but this time I ran those extra 3 runs at 9 min miles. So the first 3 miles where 9 min each. That **** was HARD !!!! Oh my god my mouth got so dry I thought I was gonna swallow my tounge. that walk after you would have thought I was using a walker I was walking so dam slow. LOL
I really don't think i'm going to push that hard again for a at least for 2 runs because it was really hard on my lower back. So i'm gonna take some tylenol arthritis and keep moving.
Yes I did my pushups, 31. I have to wait to do my situps later when my back feels better, probably around noon.
Wow, this is our last run for week 3, I can't believe we start week 4 already on Monday. It is going by so fast I can't believe it.

WEEK 3 COMPLETE !!!!!!

I completed week 4 of the c25k last night. I plan to run tonight but I am so glad this week is complete.
This was a tough week for me. While I was on my way to a Drs. appt on Wednesday morning a van ran into the back of my car and then 10 minutes later I ran into the back of another car. I still had 2 doctors appts that I needed to get to on time. Several other things happened that morning but I went into work 1/2 day and when I got home I was so sore and my body was aching but I made myself get on the treadmill and do day 2 of week 4. The body aches actually began to go away while I was on the treadmill and I even rode my bike when I finished BUT I felt every bit of the pain when I woke up Thursday morning. On Thursday, I made my self go to work (no sense lying in bed to get more stiff) and still managed to walk up 17 flights of stairs but only did it once on Thursday. Last night I stopped at Target to get the Nike plus and when I jumped out of my truck (in the pouring rain) I hit my knee against the dash. (Ouch, **** what pain.) I got home and still forced myself to finish this weeks program despite of how I was feeling so I am really proud of myself because besides the bike riding, I hate exercising. Today, I am still feeling some aches in my legs and shoulders but I plan to get on that treadmill tonight and give it 1 last good run this week.
Lee, Thanks for starting the weekly post, keeping them going and motivating us to get off our butts and to get moving.
I have also been following the discussions on coolrunning.com. They have a 200+ lbs running forum. Its also very motivating.

Heavenlydelight,
Wow what a week. I am glad it is Friday just for you, relax this weekend, you totally deserve it.
Look at you reminding me of myself with pushing through pain and obstacles to get it done no matter what. YOU ARE ROCKING THIS !!
You will like the Nike plus, I really like mine cause it tells me how fast i'm running, calories burned, distance, etc.... and I can log everything and see just how much I have done all week, month, and or year. It's pretty cool. If you don't want to buy the shoes take your sensor and put it in a ziplock bag and put it under your shoe strings. Take a look at this video it's a min long and explains it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gv5ZwTS3io
Also I turn my sensor off after every run, you do that just by holding the button down for the count of 11 and it turns off, to turn it back on for your next run you just hold it down for like a sec or two. If it doesn't turn on your nike plus will let you know. It's quite easy and it extends the life of your Nike plus.
Congrats on staying motivated even with all the things being thrown at you.
