Payless Coupon Today & Tomorrow Coupon

Someone just forwarded this to me.  So, we'll see how much truth there is to this tomorrow afternoon:


Oprah has been announcing since last week that she will be offering a mystery 50% off deal tomorrow (10-29-09). Today, word has leaked that on tomorrow's show she and guest Christian Siriano will offer a coupon for 50% off of everything at Payless Shoe Source (possibly for up to 15 items).
Since the coupon will only be good for one day (technically a day and a half) and will not be released/posted on oprah.com until after tomorrow's show, I wanted to give folks as much advance warning as possible so that they don't miss this deal if they want it. As soon as I have a direct link to the coupon I will post it. I'm guessing that the coupon will be available by noon tomorrow and that there will be a link on the webpage for tomorrow's show topic.

Yes, the coupon code will be good for a one time purchase of up to 15 items on Thurs and Friday only. The only things not included are Unforgettable Moments (dyeable shoes), Gift Cards, and the Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelets. There will be an option to text "oprah" to 242424 on Thursday to receive the coupon code.

Link to coupon has been posted & there is no limit to what you can buy...however, for me, my town only has shopko payless's which is excluded.  so this is going to mean an out of town trip for me!

I tried to use mine online and it wasn't accepted.  My daughter went into a store with the code they texted her and the little clerk there said she didn't know anything about it  

One of the stipulations is that it can't be used online.  My suggestion for your daughter is to go back & if she has a problem this time, tell the clerk to call her regional manager if she doesn't know how to use the coupon or she will be reported to corporate.

yeah, I just read the fine print about the online exclusion.  That chick at the store was just lazy!
