Surgery Date May Change... :(

So I was originally scheduled for RNY on 11/19 and I received a message from the doctors office yesterday saying that they wanted to move it to 11/13.  This would change several things seeing as how it would be a work earlier.  I sent an email to my manager to verify whether or not I would be able to take off a week earlier since I had several projects scheduled around the first date.  I haven't heard back from her yet and with me already being nervous this isn't helping.  I'm currently holding for my surgeon's office to see what the alternative dates are...  I just want everything to go smoothly now that I'm approved.  I can't wait for the date to finally come so that I can begin my new life.  Thanks for reading my vent!

Everything will work out just keep being patient.  Congrats you will be on the losers bench before you know it.

It's all working together for the good.  I know it's difficult to be patient when you've been wanting this to happen for a long time, but it will and it your schedule will work out for you at work as well.  Best wishes to you for a safe wls journey.

Thanks and I keep telling myself that everything happens for a reason but my patience is shot...  I did end up having to push the surgery back to Dec 3rd, so another month.  And on top of that I'm so lucky that I get to start my liquid diet on the morning of Thanksgiving.

It's going to all work out.  My date was changed too, at the last minute mind you.  You are in God's hands.  Just trust Him.  This is all part of His plan for you.  Before you know it, you will be posting your skinny pics....and I CAN'T wait to see them.

I bet you are nervous, me too!!  I am schedule for Nov. 09-'09 ... So it is less than two weeks... I dont know realy how I feel, so many feelings at the same time! Nervous, excited, scared, expective (Is that a word?) like I expect so many things, wondering, and many more!
I am in pre-op diet, and MAN!! It is so hard! I dont want to think about the liquid diet next week!!
Anyway!! I am blessed with this oportunity and I really need it, I hope that helps me a lot, hope it helps reduce my meds intake, my spine pain, sour knees and ankles, and you all know what I am talking about!!  I just wish and pray for a good recovery!   I AM SCARE!!!!!!!!!!!! so scare that I almost cry again!!!!

My surgery was scheduled for October 19th on October 17th they told me it was going to be post poned cas i needed to lose 5 more lbs. Not to mention my FMLA started October 18th. So dont feel bad just keep faith and you will be okay!
My new date is November 16th and it couldnt come any sooner!
