Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Talk about your week.  Talk about your weekend.  Its time to tell the whole truth and be accountable.

Most of us have a bias towards starting fresh on Mondays which makes today, Sunday, a perfect review and assess day.
Is this the look on your face when you thoughtfully consider what you have done over the past week and the result?  Are you really that surprised?
Maybe its the Happy Dance. You with your goals achieved!
Total cluster fkcu?  Wishing you started fresh when you first screwed up instead of continuing the downward spiral?
A tribute to mediocrity?  Have you ben stagnant?  I'm not talking about a stall.  Its like you are walking a treadmill and expecting to wind up in a different room.

I've had good, bad and just ok days this week.  I am still struggling to get back in my grove and stay dedicated to the program.  Adding variety is helping; but, within that variety I must be extremely careful of the foods I select.  The temptation to create new unhealthy eating habits while keeping calories in check is a formidable adversary.

I did ok so far this weekend.  There were a lot of carb foods around and I chose wisely by reviewing the buffet table and deciding which I would eat before filling my plate.  I immediately discarded anything I was not going to eat before the urge to have just a little could turn to a reality.  I'v been low on liquids so I really must hydrate today.

Its protein and veg for today plus half a slice of my favorite cake minus the frosting.  And of course I will be planning for my week.

I got in my exercise, 6 miles on the bike yesterday, my vits and water.  Funny enough it was supposed to be my lst hurrah day before going back to phase 1 lo carb today, but I didn't have much of an appettite.  I did have a couple of drinks for a family get together as well as a small slice of bday cake.

Like I said I'm going hard core low carb for the next 2 weeks at least-I'd like to stretch it to a month- we will see.

Good going on the workout.  I will be low carbing with you starting Thursday.  Atkins induction phase.  I've got may pantry and fridge prepped.

Had a terrible week, unable to exercise, didn't have any of meals prepared; kind of hard to maneuver on crutches.  Been ordering out a lot, something I don't usually do.  I have graduated to a cane and hope to be better prepared this week, with moderate upper body exercising.

Its tough when the body does not cooperate.  Google workouts for wheelchairs and seniors.  There are good programs for disabilities out there that can help til you're all better.

I don't cook much myself.  Just be selective and watch out for hidden fats and carbs that can really drive up the calorie count.

Hope you're better soon.
