New Post-op Tip
It's been a while since I've posted a tip but since I'm no longer working I have some time on my hands but my brain still doesn't work the way it should.
Todays tip is getting in your protein. Since there is a change in the weather, there are ways to make your protein taste better in a hot drink and you feel warm at the same time. Right now I'm ending my day with a protein hot cocoa. I use diet hot cocoa because it has less sugar than sugar free hot cocoa. I mix my chocolate protein powder and just enough water to make a thin paste in another container and get out all of the lumps. I then make my cocoa according to directions and then I add my protein mixture slowly constantly stirring. Adding protein powder to hot drinks can be tricky and will clump up if not done correctly.
You can also do this with coffee, tea, apple cider. Get your protein in or you will have problems later on. Jus****ch the sugars and carbs.

Killa I do the same thing. It's the only way that I can get the protein in. I use either the Unjury chocolate or the GNC Chocolate whey. I add milk and then a half teaspoon of Nestle's cocoa which doesn't have much of anything in it. It does have 12 grams of sugar per serving but since I am using a third of a serving I am only getting about 3 grams of sugar. It masks the protein taste beautifully.
