I can still only eat about 6 or 7 oz per meal but my appetite is ferocious.  It seems like I want to eat ever two or three hours. I even feel weak at times even know I may of just eaten something a hour ago.  I getting all my protein in, water and vitamins.  How should I deal with this wanting to eat constantly.  It actually scaring me because it has been going on for a while.  I eat about 1800 calories a day because of all the working out I do.  I burn on minimum 500 to 700 calories per workout.  Any suggestions to tame this wild hunger of mine.

I was like that for a while and my surgeon told me to increase my protein intake from 60g to 80g per day.  I did it and it worked.

I say talk to your surgeon see what he says about it.

I always get over 70grams of protein a day.  Which was my recommendation from my surgeon. I try to up it to and see if that helps.

How many meals do you eat a day?  Some do the regular 3 meals a day, some do six small meals a day...but equalling the same amt of calories as the 3 regular meals.

I'm the same way so I break my meals up throughout the day because I HATE those head hunger headaches or the light-headed feeling I get sometimes.

Of course you can always go to your Nut to ask also.

Are you eating dense proteins?  They stay in your pouch longer.

I had a hungry spell about 6 weeks ago and it freaked me out.  As I journaled my food intake, I realized that I was drinking my water to close to my meals.  This caused the food that I was eating to move through my system too quickly and leave me feeling hungry sooner.  I backed off my water at least 45 minutes to an hour prior to and after each meal.  Then I drank in-between.  I also increased my protein but it sounds like you are getting as much of that as possible.  Hope this helps.

I get like this some times too, I voiced this concern to my dr and he told me to really listen to where my hunger is coming from. Is it from my body or from my mind? Mind hunger is what makes us over eat and makes us want to eat more frequently. So the next time u feel like u want to eat ask yourself if its your mind telling you that your starving or is it your body?

This started at about 7 months out for me and I'm still struggling.  Its less intense when I workout right after I awake, immediately followed by a protein shake and breakfast.  Its still always there.  I also increased my protein to 100g.

Its worse if I have any carbs other than as part of the post workout meal.  Usually I eat six times a day.  Two to three meals and two to four snacks so I can control the urge to graze.  I'm trying not to eat again in under three hours.  Some days that two hour mark hits and I feel it without even checking the time.
