"junk" question

I know my BAF fam can truly appreciate this question... :-)

I know that when you lose a lot of weight your body.... well... "shifts" lol. I've heard that the "girls" tend to go south. I've never been really big up top so I'm fine with that. But does the booty go too? For those of you thick mamas who had a whole lot of "junk", did your hips/butt deflate after WLS? I wanna lose the weight but am scared of losing my "curviness" lol. Also, what "tricks" did you use afterwards (short of plastics) to improve your the way your body looks in clothes? I've read that some ppl use Spanx (which didn't really work for me pre-op), girdles, Body Majic, etc etc etc... any suggestions?

My booty all but disappeared.  My friend complains about it all the time but my response is it was obviously fat and it had to go.

ETA: I don't wear body shapers unless there is a particular outfit that I need to restrain the jiggle.  I'll take my deflated thighs over the ones I had 10 months ago that were fighting one another......for now.

Well, I have two friends that had WLS and had "junk" beforehand....now they are as flat as a board and one wears booty pads cause she misses her "junk" so bad.

Now, I am the complete opposite. I always had the boobs and although I had a reduction......I still had the boobs. Since WLS - the boobs have gone south and they are probably the smallest they've ever been and for some strange reason.........I have the "junk". No lie........my family/friends are like.........where did you get that "junk" from. I have no idea.........I guess after the fat left I had a "dunk" underneath.

On another note ~ I'll take it but I promise you I would probably be in a 12 if it wasn't for all this darn "junk".

We are just never satisfied.........I tell ya!

When nothing else could help................LOVE lifted me!!!!

My boobs got smaller, but I had some to spare... so now they are just right!  I never had "junk" unless I was a size 18 or over... I'm not flat (it's just regular, i guess...  but in the right jeans It can trick you) but If I could I'd add some...  LOL

I lost my girls and started to lose my booty too.  I really don't want to lose too much more for fear of losing my curves.  I am having my tummy tuck and breast lift and getting the girls back to the size they once were.  It just echo's in my bra now!!!   As for my booty, I'm trying to hold on to every inch I got!!  It wants to deflate with the rest of me.

Love is all there is, ever was or ever will be...

My boobs just deflated as I lost weight (from H to DDD) but still looked big in my clothes--but then I had a reduction and now they are smaller than I ever remember them being, but I'm okay with it except for missing my natural cleavage (I have to prop them up in cleavage-type bras now to get that look)  BUT I can go without one now too, which I love!

Now as for the junk--I think my situation is pretty unique  LOL    I always had a big, wide, flat (ugly) booty, but now it "looks" very round     But the truth is that the roundness is false--it's really just the way the excess skin has dropped down and landed right there--once i have that removed it would be flatsville once again     (so my doctor plans to do a butt auto-augmentation, which is to re-insert the fat he removes with/from the skin back into the "pa-dow!"  spots  : )

My girls could use a little assistance for perkiness but overall I still wear the same cup size and I am happy about that.  I am lucky that my "junk" has stayed (it is smaller).  My friends pick on me and say that I have "dangerous curves" but when I look in the mirrror and don't see it...dayum you inner fat girl dayum you...LOL!
