Protein: Help me Please -I'm Begging!

OK so... I haven't been doing good on my protein.  I had a major meltdown on Saturday (I'm  5 weeks out).  You know, the  I want some food, why did I do this to myself, etc.  So, I resolved I was gonna do better.

Yesterday I had veggie soup broth (tomato based) for lunch.  Finished it about 1:20.  So about 2:00, I make my protein.  A coworker suggested I use a shaker cup with ice in it to mix it up and I might like it better.  (For the record, I have Nectar Roadside Lemonade that I did like and never had an issue with when I was on protein only.). So I drank it about 3:30 after the foam subsided.

I dumped on it once because I made it wrong - I was sick and well, long story - made it too concentrated.  I've drank it since then with no problem.  Well, I started drinking and felt gassy.  So I stopped.  Took another (I can't tolerate it sipping, so I still do the shot method) and was OK.  I had consumed 1/2 of the 10oz so far. Took a phone call then took another shot.  There she blows!  It ALL came up.  It was a whole scoop.

Question is:  Did I let it sit too long?  Was it that I used 10 oz of water instead of 8? Was it b/c it was colder than usual?  Does this mean I need to try something else?  Or, is the brand OK, but maybe pouchie no longer likes this flavor?  Am I sensitive to whey?  I don't know what to do.  A friend suggested I try Gladiator from Smoothie King with strawberries and pineapple juice, but I haven't been released for that yet (I go to NUT next Monday).  I've tried other NEctar, Unjury (hated the flavor of the unflavored), Designer unflavored (not too bad).  Both of those were mixed in Hawaiaan Punch Lite.

I can't drink anything thick.  My friend said the smoothie isn't milk based - it's fruit & ice, so I should be able to tolerate that rather than milk based.  I can't afford to run to Smoothie King every single day (I did order a Ninja Master on QVC).

Can anyone help, please?  Any suggestions?  Wish I could make a non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri or a slushie and have it in there.  Hell, even a frozen cup.  I need something that doesn't have a taste or very little,  Maybe I should try the Nectar Strawberry Kiwi (liked it), but I'm thinking it's the brand.

HELP???

Hopefully someone will chime in with answers/suggestions to your questions but I just had to let you know you took me way back with the "frozen cup"  LOL!  Did you have a neighborhood lady that made them?

My momma was the neighborhood lady!  Hers were more "gourmet"/. Wasn't just kool aid or syrup and water.

My Mom was too and she too had a secret "gourmet" recipe that made all others pale in comparison.  Her frozen cups were juicy from the bottom to the top or the top to the bottow which ever may be your preference.  You never saw the "white ice" on hers. This is too funny and has brought a smile to my face to remember the old days.

Are the ones you dump on lactose free?  I think you should just stick with the Nectar Roadside Lemonade that you like.

The Smoothie King will probably have something in it you can't tolerate...lactose or too much sugar.  You can't control the content with those.

Make the non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri slushie and add the protien.  Theres nothing wrong with that...unless the fruit is too sweet.

Remember that you may not tolerate it now, but later on, it may be OK.  It's gonna be trial and error for awhile.  Just be patient and know that we all went through this and turned out fine.

I know some people are whey intollerant. If you go to vitalady.com you can order all kinds of samples and try them out. One of my friends can only drink this one kind from Whole Foods- Jay Rob? I think lol. I know it's something like that. It's non-whey
