When I'm stressed I'm back to the basic (for the last 10 months) measuring and making sure that if drink a much as possible still haven't gotten water in after 2 years out.Protein is getting hard to get into again and the hair is failling again.

May not be where I want to be but I glad to be where I'm at.
Working at getting the rest of the way.

I rarely eat from a full-sized plate anymore.  I usually use a saucer.  When it's full, I know I have a complete meal.

If I've cooked too much, I freeze the leftovers into individual portions.

I use 1-cup Tupperware to pack my lunch for work.

When eating out, I usually share a plate with my husband.  Otherwise, when my meal arrives I focus on eating protein first, then I taste a little bit of everything else until my pouch just starts feeling full.  I don't like to waste, so I get a carryout box for the leftovers.

I love using the curve products to help with portion control. I am not a member of curves but often will stop by the various curves locations to see what products they have available. I have purchased several of their products and it really helps me with my portion control. My 1st & favorite purchase was the cereal on the go cup. It holds approx. 12 oz of cereal and when I am done I am full and satisfied. I do notice that when I don't use the curves cup I eat twice as much cereal without even realizing it.

At work, once I feel full/satisfied, I throw the rest away. Being very cost conscious, this was very hard in the beginning and I would bring my food back to my desk and pick at it until it was finished. After doing this a few times I realized that it really didn't matter if I ate the full meal in one sitting or over a 2-3 hr period, I was still consuming the same amount of calories. I decided that the cost of throwing out the food was no where near the cost of me having to pay to have the surgery over again. Now most left overs go in the trash. The only time when I will save any left overs it when I have made a specific plan to have it at a particular meal time (dinner that night or lunch the next day).

Not having it available is my best portion control. If I have a bag of chocolate on my desk, I wont stop picking until they are all gone. They days I don't have the chocolate on my desk, I don't even think about it.

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!
