I've been robbed!!!!
Not once, but twice! This is supposed to be little country town Texas, usa. Not the big city. I only got robbed once when I lived in Detroit in my whole entire life. I Haven't been here a year yet and been robbed. TWICE!!! Both times my car doors were unlocked. It's out of habit. I never locked my car doors in Detroit. My logic is they can get whatever they want without breaking my windows and causing more damage, but I thouhgt it would never happen here in Abilene, Texas.
I was shopping at Kmart when I got robbed the first time. But who ever went into my car and stole all my silver coin I had sitting in the coin holder trays the first time. . So I started keeping all my silver coin inside my console.
Well, this time they robbed me in front of my own apt last night/this morning, cuz when I came out to go to work, my glove compartment was wide open. my console was opened and all my silver coin was taken. I guess they missed the dollar bill that was folded up in there and they tried to take my cd player. I guess they did not have enough time to look in the back of the truck where my cd changer was. I feel so violated. I left from work early cuz I was so upset.
I called the apartment complex manager and she said there were no other reports of break ins, but she said that since last year, robberies have went up double. So I guess it was just my time. Everything has been going so great for me since I been here, so I guess it was time for a little bad, if that makes any sense.
Well, from here on out I guess I'll be locking up my doors and rolling up my windows and double locking my doors at night.

Hi,,
That sucks,, and I'm sorry it happened to you. You need to lock up everything,, and let the insurance pay for the damage,, that's why we pay insurance. I was robbed once,, many years ago,, my apt. They took a lot of stuff.,, but material things can be replaced.

Lord, Keep Your Arm Around My Shoulder,,,
And Your Hand Over My Mouth ! ! !
And Your Hand Over My Mouth ! ! !
I was getting nervous when I opened up this post. I thought someone pulled a weapon on you and robbed you. Sad that people feel like they have to steal from other people instead of WORKING for what they want.
Thankfully, I have never had my car broken into, the minute I walk into my house I set the alarm. Sad you have to live your life always checking over your shoulder BUT that is what it has came too.
Sorry to scare you. I was telling my bf that I saw a homeless man sitting on one of the benches, by our complex mail center and I thought, how odd for him to be there. He looked very out of place.
But, from my understanding, this is the 'good side of town', according to the locals here. My co workers were more shocked and hurt than I was. But it is still very sad.
Thanks Rhonda!
