Oh - it's like V-day??? Damn - I thought it was a holiday where you are allowed to eat whatever dessert you want - heck, I was all excited thinking it was an excuse to eat a doughnut....

After reading Rhonda's post I do agree but I celebrate it anyway. Now I would be pissed if my hubby only did nice things for me twice a year but he holds his weight. I'm a firm believer in don't start nothing that you can't finish..........you know how folks do stuff when they are courting you (that representative) then once they have you they fall off. I don't play that so.....................we gone finish this thang until we leave up out of here.

Never heard of that one. Have hallmark and american greetings been notified? Nothing takes off without advertising.

Being that I am a Georgia girl through and through, I didn't hear about Sweetest Day until I went to college. The people that did celebrate were mostly from the midwest.
