OT - Mike Tyson on Oprah
I don't know if any of you saw this, but it was kinda touching. I caught the last 30 minutes of it and I teared up on some parts listening to him. I feel almost guilty about it. Feeling sorry for him and wishing he felt better and all. I mean, he has a certain reputation. It was sad though when he talked about his little girl's death. Just sad, like he was dealt a raw deal.
Just wondering if any of you saw it and what you thought about the interview.

I watch the clip and his pain is hard to watch. I've always felt he was very disturbed - hope he's able to find some kind of peace in this world soon.
Very sad to watch.

Hi, I watched it, most of it like yourself. And my heart went out to him. He has been through so much and he is really trying to change his life. Yes, he brought most of it on himself, but I do believe that he is remorseful for many many things. He is tormented inside and it was evident all over his face. I love Oprah, but sometimes she can be so uncaring. But anyway, yes, he does appear scary on the outside, but that brother is crying out on the inside and just wanted to be a better person. He generally loves ALL his kids and my heart broke, when he spoke of his children and the death of Exodus. I do pray that he comes out on top in the end and that for the most part, he shuts up ALL the negative folks who keep saying he ain't nothing. Because NO ONE is perfect.

I watched it............and then watched the DVD "Tyson"...............................I have a zillion and one thoughts about him and they are not all negative............I believe there's hope for him. He's tired of the rage and drama, which is all he knew, all his life...........I was really moved by the interview and the documentary (I believe the documentary was made 2 years ago).
