MY NUTRISYSTEM REVIEW...

... rates it a surprise thumbs up!

I'm not on the plan but Big Lots has had them for the longest at about $3.00.  Talk to Ms Lee if you want to know if it works.  For my its about convenient.

I picked up a few as I planned my emergecy meal cluster fkcu defense system to keep me on track when my days are at risk of getting out of control.   They require no refrigeration which makes them more convenient than any other diet meals I've seen.

The macaroni and meatballs had a lot of meat, chunks of tomato and was light on the pasta.  I added seasonings to it but overall the flavor and texture were good.  Protein 16g, 250 calories and 25g net carbs.
If you travel and need an emergency meal in tow this could be it.  Its also a good item to keep in the pantry when you don't feel like cooking and want to stay away from the fast food.  It allows a little of some danger carb foods (like rice for me) with no worry about left overs and portion control.
At the Big Lots price its worth keeping a few around.

See i'm not crazy.  It really does taste good.

I am still on NutriSystem full time big time and it's working, my jeans are getting looser and I'm loving the meals.   There has only been a few things I didn't like.

I like that macroni and beef,  that is what they call it now.  I went to Big Lots last week and picked up a few things,  i'm gonna head over there again thursday when they get a shipment in.

I keep telling people on the BL that it doesn't taste like cardboard and they don't believe me.

Now there you have it,  MSW is telling you all now.  It really isn't bad at all and all the meals are packed with protein.

I can now see how you can do this full time.  If you are a frozen food person like I was pre op, this actually tastes better than weigh****chers or lean cuisine.

For non wls folks the issue is the small portion but for us its a full meal.  This would never have done it for me pre op.  I would have needed two even with a veg on the side.  Thats why I love my rny.

NutriSystem also has frozen foods as well.  When I finish with my regular NS food i'm gonna try the frozen for a month and see how Ilike it.

I love that the portion is right for me,  I don't have to worry about cooking, or anything it's all there and because it has so much protein in everything you are for sure getting all your needed protein in.

It's working well for me.

OK guys before I head off to big lots.........I'm confused........this is not frozen food? the macaroni and meat balls? anything with protein I'm willing to try. I'm way low on my protein intake.

No it's not frozen food.   It's the regular nutrisystem food and it doesn't have to be refrigerated.  It is all full of protein.

You can find all kinds of other food like this, but Nutri System puts extra protein in theirs.   I eat it because i'm actually on Nutri System.

Strictly a shelf item which is why I tried it.  I needed something that I could travel with.  None of the other stuff fits nutritionally and most diet meals are frozen.

I can carry one with me and pop it in the microwave or a pan of boiling water to heat.  It can sit in the trunk of my car for months.  If I'm out visiting I can bring my own food easily.  If I get in late while traveling, no need to find a safe restaurant if I have a microwave or carry a mini hot pot to boil water in.

For lunch I had the salisbury steak and rice.  I doctored it with some seasoning and it was better than expected again.  The rice is very over done but the flavor is good.  The meat was just fine.
