I thought i was doing good the Dr. actually i was doing  great. i have lost a total of 72lbs since July 20th. The thing is, for the last 2 weeks the scale has not moved. I weight myself every monday and it has been the same for 2 weeks. last week i had actually gained 1 pound. Is this normal or any advice to get it moving again will be great. My goal is 150lbs  total so i still have a ways to go.

It is normal and sooooo  frustrating.  I'm surprised you're at the halfway point and this is your first stall.  Men have that advantage.  Small fluctuations are normal and not real weight gain.

I think it's normal.  For some reason, the 6 month mark always brings a stall/plateau with a lot of us.  Your body needs time to kinda catch up because 72 lbs so far is a great job.

Maybe change your exercise up a little to kick start it back.

My best to you on the rest of your journey!

Its normal. I have had my stalls last 3 weeks, then I'll drop 5 lbs in a few days. I have asked the same question many times, cuz it does get frustrating! I was told your body needs to get used to the weight loss, and even a good diet and exercise wont prevent u fro stalling. I went to a support group and one lady lasted 6 weeks with out a weight loss. I think we all go threw it, some more then others. Its not something we can control. It will come off again hun, just keep doing what your doing. I go threw a stall EVERY month!

My man, just step your walking game up, first for distance and then for speed.  Your body is still healing inside believe it or not, and you need to get it used to you being more active with the new you.  Do that and you'll see the scale moving again really soon.

Whenever I had a stall I would increase my carbs for a couple of days and then go back to regular eating.  I know this sounds counter-intuitive to what we usually hear on the board, but it worked for me.

Hey great work so far, Your doc is right your doing great.  This happens to all of us.  Watch next month the weight will be back to fallin off so easily again.  I'm almost six months out and my weightloss has taken a slow turn right now.  I think this is normal for everybody.   You'll still lose every single month but it slows down once in awhile.
