Since Mr. Obama won the Presidency last year and we all celebrated like somebody in our family just won the Powerball or the MegaMillions - and we just knew we were gonna get "broke off" some how, I for one have been looking for that CHANGE that he said was to come around. 

It never showed up. 

What did show up was "compromise" ; "conspiracy theories" ; and more "compromise."  I don't know, Yo, but I feel a little let down yahmean, kinda like when we men practically beg a sista for the digits and then when we call her up not only is it a wrong number that she gave us but it's the same wrong number that she ALWAYS uses to get us losers off her back.  The guy on the other end of the phone is like, "Dayum, I sure would like to meet this, Mabel, that all of these ninjas be calling here for...  She must have it going on..."

I don't want to believe the hype that bland AM talk radio is trying to tell me but I just don't know, Man...  I just don't know.  How in thee hell, can you be the first black President of the US, your political party (Democrats) have total control of both the House and the Senate, and you can't get the stuff passed that we need passed.  That's like being in a game of Spades sitting there trump tight, hand after hand, with both big and little Joker, the Ace of Spades, and enough cut cards to run the entire board, but when it's your turn to bid your hands you and your partner both scream out that you're only bidding the bare minimum.

Yeah back in the day sistas were on some real get fly on a brotha with a quickness crap.  See a fine babe in the club; stroll over on and try and mack dat was our strategy.  If she thought you were worthy of her time, which wasn't often, then she'd give you the number to her girlfriend's or cousin's house (Treach was absolutely right when he wrote it in his song OPP.)  But if you weren't, like me and my motley crew of "ne'er do wells" then you got chumped with the fake number routine.

I see what's happening as the 'token' syndrome, to some extent.  The IDEA of a black man as president is one thing, entirely another to accept it as an IDEAL. 

SOME of white america is feeling they've written a check their ass isn't QUITE ready to cash - but, I think Obama's crafty enough to change his game and still get it done.

Just like that sista who gives out the fake digits, the DEMOCRATS backed PRESIDENT Obama until he actually got into office.  They don't want to see Health Care Reform the way he's talking.  Do you know how many of their family members and contributors are drs. & hospital CEO's???  

The House & the Senate are trump tight but they don't know how to play their hand!  The bottom line is that they were alright with making history and they reaally didn't want McCain in there but they don't want to play the game.  They don't want the CHANGE that he talked about and we would like to see.  They couldn't do anything about the change in the suite, but didn't really want to play 'spades'!!

I really hate how everyone thinks that President Obama is supposed to drink an ocean.  The US was TOTALLY ****ED UP when he took office.  It took the daddy Bush like 8 years to stir up the mess and then it took G Dub Bush at least 8 years to play in the doo doo and make an even bigger mess.  But now we want President Obama to clean it all up in 8 months???  It ain't WLS!!!

I THINK and FEEL that Obama will be the '***** to change **** for real' - that always happens - white folk let ENOUGH token *****s in, eventually, we get hold of some REAL **** and we get to REALLY make a difference.......

take me, for instance (and I am in NO WAY saying I am as important, special and GOD sent as that man) - in my company - there's only ONE black woman in a position above mine in management - ONE.  But the part of the business *I* control - I see ALL the $$.  Any time da man needs to know 'how much $$ I got?  and how much I's gon git tomorrow?' *I* am the nicca to answer.  See - you done let the NEGRO into a position to DO some shiot........

Hell you know what his so called political backers did not take into consideration....they slept on the fact that he's got a FOR REAL WIFE....giving him more 411, rubbing his back at night AND pumping him the FLUCK UP so that he can come back the next day to stomp through some MO of that dayum bullshioot they are trying to dish out!  He's got STAYING POWER and they can keep coming with it...eventually he will wear their arses down. The next time you look at a session of congress...scan the crowd...do any of those folks look like they are getting it put on them better than our President! Barack: "Dayum Baby.....I can't get a break on either side of the aisle." "Now I know my health care bill is not that dayum bad."

Michelle: "Bump that negative talk baby....you know your Bill is the Shioot....do you honestly think any of those folks friend or foe...is going to make it easy for your black arse to make history again!!!"

Barack: "I hear you pumpkin." "I know I have been in office less than a year but I was so hoping we would be farther along by now." " I have other shiott that I want to do." "I want to make this country a better place for our two boo boos and everyone else for that matter." "Its important to me." 

Michelle (as she rubs the back of his neck): "Dayum...your muscle are getting a little tight." "Well...I am gonna tell you this....the next time a MOFO calls you a liar...I am gonna come out of my shoes...and put my foot up his or her arse!!!"

Barack: "Yeah, I knew when he said it...I was gonna have to hold you back IF you had been in the room...lol!" "They really just don't know...I am trying the best I can NOT to let that side of Chicago out on their arse for real."

Michelle: "Well....enough of all this talk...tomorrow is another day.....now come get some of dis stress reliever!!!"  

Barack: "Who's the man!"

Michelle: "You the man!"

Barack (Beats chest):  "I am going in there and kick some arse on both sides tomorrow if I have to....they are going to accept... my baby ....my bill... I said it at the beginning and I meant it....Its time for a CHANGE!!"

Michelle (cheesy grin): "Sho you right baby".  

Fast forward seven years: 

Michelle:  'Dayum baby...I am going to miss this house."

Barack:  "Me too....but we came and did what we needed to do....just happy our folks did not desert us....even happier that we did not let them down."  The country is a better place and we can rest after the BBQ over George W's house....Did your mom make them baked beans....with xtra exlax? They had let that Mofo off to easy....hehehehehe!
