If I hear one more time

If I hear one more time a horror story about weight loss surgery I am going to scream.  Why do people feel the need to tell me every horror story they have heard about weight loss surgery .  They can not even tell me what kind of surgery the person has had.  My reaction when they tell me is more people die daily for complications of being obese than from weight loss surgery .  I am so tired of hearing my cousins friend sister had that surgery comments and they gain all there weight back.  Just venting sorry

I think people, in general, like to tell about the negative stories just to get a reaction.  Ever wonder why the news only reports the bad things and hardly ever the good things.  Since you are not going to give people the reaction they are expecting thes story tellers should eventually go away.  I don't hear any horror stories because everyone want to hear my story.  I stay positive and don't feed them any "feul for their fire".  It's good to vent!

I feel you on this one too!  (See my rant post).  I told whoever asked me about my weight loss, and now, I"m backing off telling folk for that very reason.   Girl, they turn me into a neck-swiveling, eye-rolling sistah with that mess!!!

Don't be sorry, this is the place to vent.  I tell people:

Loads of folks get run over by busses but you still cross the street

I knew the risks and I was out dancing on post op day 4

Or I ask did this mystery person committ to the wls rules 100%? And then I answer for them, doubtful or they would be fine, implying it was the person not the surgery.

Now the idiot is scrambling to defend his statements instead of me defending wls.

I have never told anyone either.  But also that is what makes this website so good.  You come here and you get the real story from real people not just a bunch of "he said, she said" bogus rumors.

The daily devotional lady has gotten mad now!  Don't let you dare let them steal your joy!!  You look great and I wish you continued success.
