Good Googly....It's Cold!!!

Where is my fat when I need it??? It's 52 degrees and I'm freezing my tush off. I'm used to having my "personal summers" 24/7, but ever since WLS and starting HRT I'm so cold.

Short of layering ten sweaters, sweats and skull caps, how do you deal with it? I may have to invest in a heating blanket soon.

I was just patting myself on the back about going natural with my short fro.  Now I'm ready to start pulling the wigs back out so I can keep my head warm.

Thanks!  It's growing back so THICK that I'm going to have to chop it off again.  I am so tender-headed it's not funny.   I have to use a spray conditioner to get the pick through it every morning.  Going out in the cold air after doing that is going to get harder to do as it gets colder.  I'd briefly considered dreadlocks before, but I might look into it a little more.

I usually wear a half wig when its cold out or I twist it up at night with my conditioner and then in the morning just put a little moisturizer and go. I love being natural! my hair is growing so much.

I forgot to mention the rain this week. It's cold, windy, damp and my allergies are kicking in like crazy. I took a nap with the heating pad yesterday just to get the chill off.

Why was it 33 degrees in Denver when I woke up this morning???  But it's supposed to get up to 65 today, so we'll see.  I'm always cold and since WLS it's gotten worse.  I keep a heater in my office year round.
