CHRIS ROCK on OPRAH, THAT IS HER REAL HAIR...GOOD HAIR

I have been telling people for months that that was Oprah's real hair and no one believed me.

Her hair is georgeous.

Her hair sure is gorgeous, and Chris Rock is a mess. Did you hear what Dr. Maya Angelou told him.

LOL, yeah she told him she ain't dead yet. 

She didn't get a perm until she was 70 years old,  I say if you can go 70 years without a perm why get one at all.

Years ago, they used to show her quite often in the makeup room w/Andre doing her hair & even though he himself has said several times, it's hers, you could certainly tell by the way he was doing it, holding it up & handling it, that it was hers as well.

That just goes to show you don't have to have "good hair" to have long pretty georgeous hair.

amen, you just have to know how to take care of it.  It also helps when you got your own personal proffesional hair stylist on payroll!

I don't do jack to my hair,  it's wash and in the bun it goes.  

I don't think I would want a personal stylist,  that would mean I had to get my hair done everyday.  Forget that.

No you don't have to have "good hair" but it sure would HELP if I had an Andrae to do it everyday!   It must be nice to be rich!!!  I ain't mad at her...  LOL  I've always thought she had a nice "head of hair"  You can tell, it's thick and healthy....

 I bought Andre's book.  It was great.

I told a lady that I've known for years last week not to ever say to me, "You have that good hair". She saw me after I had been to the beauty salon and it had been flat ironed and she was ooooh and aaahing over my hair and how long it was and she said but you have that "good hair". I told her that everyone has good hair and she no they don't and she certainly doesn't. I asked her, "Is that the hair that God gave you?" and she nodded yes and I told her "You have good hair because that is the hair God gave you !!!!"

Her mouth dropped and she told me she never thought of that before. I told her that all AA children should be taught that from birth. I was teased all of my life because I had long, wavy thick hair and was told that I had "good hair" by others but I refuse to accept that label. All of my brothas and sistas of color have good hair because that is what God gave them and He gave them free will to style it as they please.

Oh and I agree Lesia, Oprah has beautiful hair. Sorry for going off but it's been that kind of day.
