Health Question

Since WLS, has anyone had any type of cysts or lumps from the waist up only? If its below the waist please that's TMI!  I am asking because I found a lump in my neck. A family member of mine gave me some advice and said that I should ask other WLS Veterans as research is still ongoing for us.

You might want to start with a dermatologist familiar with African American skin. We are prone to cysts and lumps that are related to our keratin. I have not heard anything about WLS and skin issues of this type. You might want to post this on the main board and see what responses you get. No matter what please get it checked.

I have had cysts for many years (breasts, ovaries, face) ....way before WLS.   Did you have a question?

I posted my question in my first sentence however I forget the question mark.

Never had the issue, guess its too soon to say but just wanted to encourage you to get it checked out.

I have one on the back of my neck.  It's a Lipoma.  I've had it removed before and that sucker came back.  It's fat... looks just like chicken fat when it's removed.
