Hi to everyone...Long time no see. I'm back because I am having some serious difficulty...I have put back on 50 pounds and I am trying like hell to get this weight off but I am having some problems. First, of course I can eat much more compared to 5 years ago but I am having a hard time getting my eating under control. I try my best to just eat protien and vegatables but i have always had a bad craving when it came to sweets and thats what gets me all the time.

I came here today becuase I was hoping to find out if there is a way to shrink my stomach....of course i know it will never get back to post surgery size but can it actually get smaller.

Please all comments and help will be appreciated.

I've seen posts about a procedure to tighten the pouch that involves injections into the pouch/ stomach.  There may be people familiar with it on the revisions board.  I can't remember what it is called but I understnd it is done as an outpatient procedure and requires no incisions.

Thanks for making me aware of that. I am hopefully looking for something non-surgical. But that is something to investigate if need be.

there is a new procedure called the rose procedure and the stomaphyx where they make the stomach tighter the rose procedure appears to be the best from what I have read. helping my friend who is 6 yrs out and having same problem.
I am so Grateful unto God and yes, I will continue Praising Him in Advance!

Hey there...I was also gonna mention stomaphyx...I've seen great results. I know you said you wanted something non-surgical, and it's very non invasive and may be worth looking into.

Wishing you the best

When I find myself getting a bit out of range for the amounts I'm eating, I go back to using measuring cups. Eat what you put on your plate and that is all. And eat it slowly. I can't speak for you, but I know for me when I get to eating larger amounts, it's because I'm eating too fast and not really paying attention to what I'm doing. If I slow it down, I can still feel satisfied on a reasonable portion of food.
