Options.......
Howdy DTray,
On Saturday I went to Meijers superstore and opted not to park in the handicapped spot. I also opted not to use the scooter and was able to walk the whole store as well as other stores that I shopped at that day.
I now have the option to return to school to finally finish and to return to work.
I did not have any of these option 6 months ago and feel thankful for them.

I still am 100 lbs overweight so I am still scared to try the tub, but each weigh in the tub is calling louder. I have a stash of bubble bath waiting for that day. Now it is not just a fantasy.
However to date:
!. At 53 i am going to have a chance at a life not defined by my obesity.
2. I am a revison so i survived a major surgery twice. This revision surgery (the DS) was one of many choices. 22 years ago I did not have options.
3. I can shop and walk without feeling like i am going to pass out after 5 minutes.
4. No more c pap
5. no more diabetes
6. seat belt fits ( I can't wait to fly)
7. If the LORD chooses to send a man into my life, I will now have the self esteem to have a healthy relationship
Thanks for a gr8 post Dtray and I appreciate the respect you showed when you kept it rated " G".
grace Peace and Love with much gratitude

1.) I ran out of gas a couple months ago, and had it been before my surgery I would have called my husband to come, instead I just got my tennis out the trunk and walked to a gas station.
2.) The tub thing is definitely a plus!!
3.) Not being confined to Lane Bryant, Torrid or some other plus size store.
4.) Being able to ride my bike for 5 miles with my daughter.
5.) Signed up for the Komen Walk for the Cure, for the first time in my LIFE!!
6.) Went to the OH conf. this weekend and stayed in 4 inch heels from 7:45am-11:30pm.
I can go on and on but I'll stop now. I'm so grateful for all the options that have opened due to RNY!! 90lbs gone forever in just over 6 months. I'm ecstatic and looking forward to the many options to come!!!
