HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY TIME
Well last night ended my 5 day pouch test and I must say that I'm glad that I did it. For the most part I stuck to the plan with the exception of some peanut butter and last night I just couldn't resist some mac n cheese. I fought with myself about saving it for today and complete the test but the mac won and quite frankly I don't feel bad about it because I did well all week.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/biggrin2.gif)
This morning I am down 6lbs. from the Monday which was the beginning of the pouch test and I am ecstatic.
Onederland is less than 4lbs away and I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/daydreaming.gif)

How did you do yesterday and do you have a good plan to get through today?
I did good yesterday even though tempted. I had cofee, scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. For lunch I atttended a birthday party for our fosterchildren who turned 18 this month (I work in child welfare) at the Golden Corral. But surprisingly I ate some jalapeno salmon, cabbage and nibbled a little chicken and diet soda. For dinner I had meatloaf and collard greens and green tea and chamomile tea for a night cap. For some reason I was craving wine but didn't drink any because I learned that when you drink the body burns the alcohol first and right now I need to burn FAT first and foregmost-don't need anything else to get in the way.
Are you choosing the right foods? Getting enough water? How about exercise and supplements. I have been choosing low carb foods for the past two weeks because they keep my "chocolate cravings" under wrap. They also keep my appetite under control-I had gotten totally out of control. Still struggling with the water intake even though I eat ice like they won't make any more tomorrow (anemic). I have been doing better with exercise the past two weeks (20 mins on the Gazelle 3x a week and walking up and down 6 flights of steps 2x for 5 days both weeks). For supplements, again for the past two weeks only, I have been taking an adult chewable vitamin, my prsecription iron pill, calcuim 630 mg, Vit D 400 mg, b-12 sublingual 2500 mg, omega fish oil 1200 mg, Acidophilus 13.3 mg and vitamin C 500 mg. Should I add any other supplements?
Are you following the rules, protein first, no drinking with meals, you know the drill. Yes. I don't drink with meals I usually wait 30 mins to an hour and then drink. or in the morning I drink coffee first and breakfast 30 mins later.
Or maybe you're struggling at the moment and need encouragement or a dose of ambition to get through it? I'm always struggling even after almost 3 years out. But I welcome encouragement and being held accountable-it makes me remember when I was 300lbs and how not to get back there. I lurk but I come out of hiding once in a while to refuel. THANKS!

You are working it hard to stay on point! I really needed to hear this right now as I walk that fine line between working it half heartedly and making a total fkcu up of it all. Especially the details.
Its the struggle that gets me. I knew it would never be easy but I'm still not used to the daily struggle. I admire how you work through your cravings.
Glad you came out an posted today.
