OT - From the "WTF Files..."

I know I haven't been posting that much lately but I had to kinda check the water temperature on this one before I get in the wind again:

Mackenzie Phillips tells Oprah that she and her father had an incestuous relationship since she was 11, I think.

See right there is where I have a problem with everything - the word 'Relationship!"  She didn't say "rape and pillaged me...," nor did she say "he violated me..."  This rich kid turned drug-addict turned child actress turned annual news story report, consented to having xes with her own dad.  Uh... Yuk!  Gross!   Ew!  Something is really wrong in that gott-dayum family, Yo.  Something is really wrong there.  Then I heard she had to have an abortion because she wasn't sure if she was pregnant for her dad or some other guy.   Well I'll be dayum!  Excuse me, Y'all:

I didn't see it, but have heard it repeated that she said they had a CONSENSUAL sexual relationship for close to a decade. And then she broke it off when he talked about them running away somewhere else to a culture that wouldn't judge them.  I read that she said it started the NIGHT BEFORE SHE GOT MARRIED at 18 and lasted until she was 28. I just can't even wrap my mind around that one AT ALL.  I know they did a lot of drugs BUT STILL. Some people think she is sensationalizing to sell her books. I'm not sure WHAT I think about this one! It would explain her being a hot mess all these years though.

...But it was her dad!!!!. 

As soon as she left the womb something should have clicked in his head to say something to the effect of, "This is the ugliest (because he would NEVER be turned on by her WHATSOEVER) most beautiful baby girl (cause she's his daughter) in the world."  A red flag should have gone up somewhere.  Dayum!

And she didn't even feel violated with her father touching her.  She must've been zonked out of her head too.  Oh wait...  She was.

I felt physically sick when I heard this story.  I have the Oprah show recorded, but can't make myself watch it.  I just can't wrap my mind around it.

My hope is that by telling her story, that she will help somebody going throught the same thing.

I'm with you on this one.  This one made me feel like I was testing the limits of my new pouch with too much food. 

Having xes with your dad.  Ewwwwwww!  If there was ever a section that people needed to read in the Xes for Dummies book should be right below the title: "Don't sleep with your children - consenual or otherwise.  Please!

I hope that her book does help somebody but I wish that they pay her for the book in "Thank you's..." because she'll jsut snort up or smoke up any hope of there being a follow up book or manual.

He started her on drugs from what I heard.... So she may have said it was consensual but I don't believe it.  I think that's just how she's rewritten it in her mind so it wouldn't look like her own father abused her.  Who would want to think their daddy abused them?  This explains her behavior all these years... 
I'll bet he abused her off and on from the time she was young and when she turned 18 they (rather he) made it a regular thing.  He had already groomed her with drugs and prior abuse.

Well dig his azz up and kill him all over again.  Ya heard...  That's horrible and disgusting. 

Children lovingly look upon their parents out a sense of built-in trust and respect and he goes and violates that trust by doing what he did and then making her think it was something that they just decided to do together.
