Have you brought anyone to "the lord"? Not that I'm aware of.

Do folks consider you a representative of Jesus???  No. However, when a family member or friend dies, I feel myself drawn to comfort them the survivors. I'm usually the first one to show up at the hospital, house or church with a bucket of chicken, cake, soda and a box of Kleenex.

Has you or your church moved other people to give 10%? I used to go to a church where the pastor would do a mini sermon (15-20 minutes) about how we needed to give, give, give, give. That drove me crazy.  On a good day, I can do more than 10%, others I give what I can. I'm Lutheran now and there is never a mention of a percentage.

Since I have been saved I __know that my words and prayers are sincere____ and I have made a difference in this person or groups life by__being there for others in their time of need__ I just pray that Jesus will__keep me  and mine__

Can folks look at your life and say "Oh yeah, that is the way I want to be, I child of Christ, and Church"?  I try to lead by example meaning I try to stay positive at all time and I teach this to my son. I don't want anyone to be like me cause there is only one me. I am a child of God and I am not ashamed to say so. As far as church goes Church is not a place and that's where people usually get confused. Church is in your heart and God looks at your heart.

Now on this 10% people tend to get confused with this, the 10% does not always mean 10% of MONEY. It can be your time, helping someone who needs help, feeding someone who is hungry. It's not always about money.

How much/well do you know of/about Ro?  Have you read her posts from all the time she's been kicking it on this board?  Do you know her story, HER background, HER POV? 

Her topic asks a question to those who have responded to her with the type of information she's asking about.  I didn't read where she's saying that somebody is wrong for what they think/believe - but she just really ain't buying into it.  And she's still curious about it. 

What's inherently wrong with that?  Did she say that the opinions of these folk are invalid?  So because she doesn't feel the way that you do and is questioning and trying to get feedback to get an understanding, she's ignorant?

Yes - she is.  Ignorant of what really drives those who feel that way - hence her post questioning it.  I think if you knew more about her - you'd understand some of what's behind her questions and her intent instead of labeling it an attack.  Which is exactly what we discussed yesterday about jumping the gun and thinking you can label or know where someone is really coming from and where they are trying to get to..........

And yea - I thru that Holy Roller thang in there on purpose - you were quick yesterday to say ain't nobody perfect, but today you jump to judge and label somebody behind your perception - which may or may not be, in fact, reality.

I don't know much about anyone on this board except for what they put out here. I can only draw my conclusions based on your consistent character.

I don't know much about Ro except that (since I've been on the board)  her name is associated with drama. Nope don't know her story but that really doesn't matter - y'all don't know mine. This is the Internet and sometimes it's taken too serious. I know you vets all have relationships and stick together with the exception of a few folks.

Again, my opinion is just that...........my opinion. Even when folks answered the questioned ...even that was attacked.

As you vets put it........this board is boring so I guess all the drama has livened it up for the end of work week.
