Piggyback from Mack's FB Post & Lee's Comment
Get out the corner!!
My comment was directed to your inital post because you asked about people comments on FB. After reading that post I referenced it anything people post on-line wheras it is BAF or any other website.
OB****hanks for waking up this boring azz board. The only rason I am over here is because FB is blocked at my office.
I am not on facebook because i got turned off early because of all the drama my teenagers seemed to keep going on there. i would ban them from the computer at home and of course they would go to a friends house, library etc.
However, I will say that my walk with the LORD is not such that I feel like I have arrived. If anything every day I realize how much more I have to go. Every challenge, every person and cir****tance is sent to move me closer to Christ. Some times I am on point, others i fail miserably. The times I am on point are the days that have prayer and devotion and an uncluttered ear for the Holy Spirit. The other times I am too carnal and into me. When I post it is not to condemn or lecture, It is to encourage. The older you get I think the more eternity looms in your view. You watch your life and the lives of others and hopefully learn a few things. Like what is really important. King Solomon said it best regarding our conduct and the conduct of others. In Ecclesiastes 12:13,14 New Intl' ver.

13 That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear
God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. 14 God
will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing,
whether good or bad.

Kells.....If that is directed to me, could you get a bigger pair?
I looked at the last pair and even after the flames I don't think I could have gotten them past my ankles.
i still have 109 lbs to go b4 goal. (mz JOJO is a big ole gurl)
Grace and peace ( and hopefully a working fire extinguisher)

I fear fire yet I cook with it and it provides warmth. Fear is healthy when it is applied properly. He .......God is all forgiving but He is also Holy. There is a balance and it must be observed. No way no how i would have gotten to this moment in time without God. he is worthy of my praise, my adoration, devotion, love and yes...... fear.
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of
knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Just as Proverbs states that the fear of God is the foundation of learning and growing, so Jesus confirms and makes clear this precept. Our personal fears of rejection and assumptions sometimes dig in like an anchor, and keep us from experiencing and proclaiming our love for Christ, as we should. Yet, the solution to fear is fear! It is to grow away from our personal fears into the embrace of His wonder. Then we have a fear that is respectful, one of wonder and awe for God, and there is nothing that can hold us back from proclaiming His Word. Fear of how others may respond will be nullified; the only hold on us will be what we drag with us. When we understand that we are precious in His sight, and that His deep love for us is true and real, we will have no need to drag along our anchors of fear. We can let go and allow Him to reign and be Lord over us as our loving Father. We have to learn how much He indeed cares for us so we can trust Him even more to take us beyond what holds us back in life. In this way we can go deeper with Him, be able to use the gifts He brings, and take advantage of the opportunities that come. This fear of God will so infuse us with love that we will passionately desire to proclaim Him from the roof and mountaintops!
