Sept. 22 is my 9 month surgery anniversary. I lost about 5 pounds during month 8. I am not as strict as I was early on about eating and I was sick for 2 weeks during this time. So, I'm really not hung up on the amount of weight loss this month. My big accomplishment this month is that I can now wear a size X-Large blouse. I haven't been able to wear this size since right after high school. I am still size 18 bottoms. Although, I did purchase some work out bottoms at Wal-Mart in size 16/18 (Non-women's sizes!)
I am increasing my exercise with spinning classes at lunch a couple days / week and I just ordered the Turbo Jam DVD's for home work outs. I also run 2 days per week. I got a new scale this month. The last time I weighed on the old one, I weighed 240. The new scale weighed me at 249. This is probably more accurate because when I was sick I went to the Dr. and their scale weighed me at 248 - and it was first thing in the morning. I now weigh 244 according to the new scale. My short term goal for this coming month is to break out of the 240's -- thus the increased physical activity. I'll let you all know next month how it worked out!
The jeans I am wearing in the NOW picture have been in my closet waiting for me to squeeze into for about 3 months! I got them online from Lane Bryant on clearance for $13.99 - hey I couldn't pass up the bargain. The big thing about getting into them is that I wear the Right Size Curvy jeans (blue tag) and these are Right Size Slightly Curved (red tag). So, this is an NSV of sorts for me.
I still want to be in One-derland by Dec. 31. I think I am going to ride the protein train and buy some keto sticks to check for ketosis in order to make my goal of losing 10 pounds by next month. I've got to buckle down and just do this.
