Wine?
I honestly waited til almost 2 years out to even try anything but I can tell you, "Don't try it; you just might like it." A lot of us (myself included) are dealing with a food addiction, when you take away the ability to eat, there is a strange transference that sometimes occurs.
I am suggesting care, I wouldn't dare tell you not to do something I do but know that there are risks involved due to your special predicament and I have been there.
Good luck and stay away from Margaritas...the sugar in those things make me sick and I out 7 yrs!

i had a shot of tequila two weeks after surgery, now should i have..............of course not, but i knew i would never stick to the booze restriction even before having surgery. that being said........have a glass, it isn't going to change anything long term....but u do have to understand the effects; ie, u get higher-faster.....sugar tolerance...etc........just be cautious, take it slow........but enjoy yourself a little. the last poster was also correct, it is very possible to replace one addiction with another so monitor yourself........(try the Stella Rosa)
