I couldn't find a kick in the butt so here is a lump on the headClubAsk yourself which weight makes you feel happy and comfortable and go for it.  Proteins 1st and only eat healthy planned snacks.  Go back to basics lady, if you suspect a mechanical failure visit your surgeon.....if you think it's human failure do something about it TODAY.  BACK TO THE BASICS, I know you can do it keep us posted.

Hi I am a pre op so my words may not help much. I dont have the experiences that others have had simply because i havent had the surgery yet. Having said that I have had many experiences with other issues in life (especially health issues)that involved setbacks. Many times in my life I have gone into things full steam ahead only to suffer major setbacks. Never let a set back keep you from your goal. Yes it can be emotionally draining to take steps foward and then find yourself backsliding a bit. Always take the setbacks as a temporary thing. You obviously had made great strides to get to where you had lost a lot of wieght. Just take time to look at the overall picture. The overall picture says that you can do it. You will get thru this setback. Setbacks are just hard for us sometimes because we want what we want and we want it now. The process of losing wieght is not a race. There is no time limit like a basketball game.  Give yourself time to regroup and I am sure that you will meet your goals sooner than later. Best wishes to you....and just know that many pre-op people like me appreciate your honesty and sincerity in the stories that all of your veterans share. Peace

hey lady!!!!

I feel you - I have 10lbs I MUST get off - I'd like to do 20, but I am definitely up 10 from my goal.....

kudos to you for seeing that you need to make a change to get back where you want/need to be.

Now - for REAL help and feedback, I need to know:

How much have you gained and since when did you gain it?

What is your typical day now of food?

When/What are you working out?

How much water are you getting in?  Vitamins?

There no magic bullet - as you already know - but you HAVE to keep working at it and fighting - I was in the dog DUMPS about this 10lbs - the scale actually said 200 - I 'clicked' in that moment - no freaking WAY am I going to go back - and to hell with wearing a size 12 at 200lbs - that **** ain't cool either!!!!!  180 or BUST for me.

If you can tell me a lil bit more about what you're doing now, I'd be happy to make some suggestions to you about some things I've tried over the years.

Hang in there!  We ain't come this far to be defeated!!!!

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions!  I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

My suggestion is eat 5 to 6 times a day to help speed your metabolism snack with healthy things such as protein bars fruits ect !! You need carbs to give you energy make sure is limited to good carbs only no white and starch!! Plenty of water and exercise at least maintain a minimum of days per week of working out increase it if you can!! To kick off the weigh loss you might need to do a nice cleanse to get toxic and waste out of your system if you try those things you should definitely see some results within a month or less.

Girl im not trying to hear you rite now. You wher one of the people I tracked before I had the surgery. I sead I want to be like her when i grow up,LOL Now your giving up? Know good ! First start with going to the DR. to make sure you don't have anything going on with your insides see what he has to say about whats going on? Maybe there's more that meets the eye.Ask yourself did you gain all your weight over night? Then don't expect to loose it over night. The surgery is a tool not the cure.
