Newbie........and lost............
Everyone is different so i can't predict that hair thang. I had locks long enough to sit on ( I had locked in 2000).At about 3 months out mine started falling out. I was frustrated because my surgery was a revision and I was having all sorts of other complications. So i decided to go out on my terms and cut them all off. I am sporting a lil fro now. It was real thin for a while but i have noticed lately it seems to thickening back up. I am don't think i can do the wig thang. I don't even bother with color no more. The lil girl at the supermarket asked me, "are you eligible for the senior discount?". I hurried up and hollahed , YEAH. If I am gonna rock this grey at least get me a lil discount along the way.

Hey thurr Fluff,
congratulations on your sleeve, you will be pleasantly pleased.
You should check with your surgeon and or nutritionist for food ideas, but I will share with you what mine told me when I was sleeved in February.
The first two weeks I was allowed:
Sugar free jello, protein shakes, water, sugar free juice (if tolerated), sugar free applesauce, hot cereal such as cream of wheat.
After the second week I was allowed to introduce soft foods such as:
tuna, egg salad, potted meat (mixed with miracle whip), thinly sliced deli turkey or chicken wrapped with cheese, watermelon, sugar free pears, etc.
After the third week I progressed to regular foods stressing protein first.
It was very difficult to do any type of eating for the first two months but you will later be able to eat more but not much. C Try to eat however because at 6 months I am FINALLY getting the rhythm of this and losing again after realizing that I wasn't eating enough, my body stalled from May until August at 237 lbs, since the beginning of august I've lost 20 lbs simply by eating more, upping protein, and cutting carbs.
Anywho, you'll find your niche' and the tool will work well. You may also want to check out the VSG board for other ideas, Ms. Shell usually post a daily food thread that you can follow.
Again congratulations, all the best in your journey.
