Hey y'll, I hope all is good on your end.

I'm new to the forum and wanted to intro myself.

I'm Allison/fluffynfine1  live in DC.  21 days out.  I had a VBG w/sleeve.  Still kinda clueless of what I should eat, but I'll work it out.

Welcome to BAF.  If your doctor did not give you a list of what to eat and not to eat then please ask for one. Maybe someone will chime in who has had the same type of surgery as you have and give you some suggestions.

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

Welcome to BAF. I'm not sure on what you can eat I had the RNY and I was on soft foods like sf pudding, nf yogurt, mashed potatoes, and protein drinks.

Hi Allison.  Iam in the DC area.  Just wanted to say Congrats on your surgery.  I am not sure on your food situation.  Good Luck!

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

First of all congrats on your surgery I am moving over to make room for you on the losers bench.
Your surgeon should have given you his/her guidelines on what to eat as you heal. I think your surgery was like mine so you should be concentrating on fluids and protein. Pick up that phone call them Find out because your weight loss and healing depend on how informed you are.  for yor success

Thanks!!

He gave me the list and he wants me to eat 80 grams of protein a day without shakes.  It's sooooooo hard!!!   I'm trying to drink and then eat.

I've been looking at the boards to get an idea of different things.

Then I'm scared that my hair may fall out and wigs are too hot.
