God thoughts & RNY

Does anyone think that by us altering our bodies to lose weight God will not be pleased.  I have been thinking about that the pass few weeks. Praying for a answer.

Thoughts?

God said our bodies are temples and we are to treat them as such.  He is more displeased about our being overweight.  The surgery gives us the tool to help us line up with His will. 

I feel God is please with my decision to get healthy.  It benefited me and others because now I am able to do more for others.  I also treat my self better so I know GOD is please.

Everything good comes from GOD, and this surgery is a good thing.

God supplied us with a means to undo damage we have done to ourselves. I think it pleases Him when we take steps to take care of the bodies He gave us.

I believe that God truly deals with us based on how, in our hearts, we deal with life's journey here on earth.

I believe that God gives all sorts of talents and gifts.  Many gifts and talents are given to doctor's , surgeons, researchers, etc.  These people, for the most part, work within their gift.  So if a man or woman has the gift of being a surgeon..........how would they use that gift if there were no patients? I personally believe that "all things work together". 

Medical technology is totally over my head and out of my league.....but i'm grateful for it.........based on that, i'm so glad i had the surgery.
