2009 Q4 Challenge...... get out and DO something!!!!

I've been wanting to become fluent in a 2nd language for years now but always found something to prevent me from enrolling in classes.  I plan to enroll in either a spanish or a sign language class for the winter semester.

Sign language is awesome, it is tough but well worth it. It also gives you a sense of what the deaf culture deals with daily... I took it a couple of semesters ago, and it was one of best things I could have done.

Ditto to that - I learned sign language in Middle School - it had a program for gifted and talented and special ed in one school - we learned a lot from each other.

Well Spanish would probably be more useful at work, but I remember enough from my 4 years in school to get me through.  Plus Spanish interpreters are easy to come by.  I like a challenge so I am really eager to learn SL.
