Why??....

Moriahjt1, i totally understand that. I was just hoping for a shocker and that I was going to actually get some support-positive support from her (as you can probably tell-there's a history here). I am very head strong person especially when it comes to decisions that i make and she knows.  However, she's aware of the Gastric- but the problem is that I'm getting "compared" to someone else that had it done, but had some complications. The crazy thing is that the complications was NOT WLS related, but it was more "evident" since she had the surgery so they automatically tie the two together.

I believe it's a mother's love, however, i would like for life to be spoken in my situation that negativity. Right now is really not the time. But i do love my mom and most of the time preferably at a distance. But again, thanks to all for the support!!

Don't go gettin' your pressure up over no one else, even family. You want to go in with a clear mind and your mother will see the aftermath later. God bless you tomorrow...you'll be fine!

I was scared to death of the Lap RNY, and really it wasn't much different than my lap band.  I had the surgery on Friday, and went back to work the following Tuesday (I have a sedentary job)!.. Don't worry.  Walk as soon as you can after and just know everything will be OK.

As for your co-workers...we both know they are both just jealous...they will be hating on your super skinty azz when all is said and done!!! Just remember you are paving the way for your sis...LOL!
Have your hubby text me after you are out of the OR tomorrow to let me know your room number so I can check in on you!!!
