Tell the whole truth and be accountable for FRIDAY. What did you eat, what did you do, how did you exercise? Are you on point? If not its time to get yourself there.
Have you honestly assesed what doesn't work and why its not working or are you trying to fool yourself. Do you give yourself credit for your accomplishments or do you constantly criticize or dismiss your own success. Have you got a plan? Are you taking advantage of your support system? Just a few things to consider. ... All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Well - went to the doc's yesterday and found out i have pharyngitis and upper respitory infection.
Great. 2 weeks ago, flu - now this. I didn't realize I was method acting in the Broadway rendition of 'Outbreak' and I AM the communicable disease.........

Good morning MSW.
My Friday was pretty good. I did not do any formal exercise other than 2 short walks with the dogs. I did help move some furniture for family and after that I was wiped out.
My eating was so-so.
B=coffee, pear and granola bar
L=1 cup chili
D=grilled bratwurst
S=grapes, half an apple, small slice of brie
I got about 48 oz of water in and today I'm shooting for 64 oz.
Have a good weekend.

My stats were not bad yesterday. Protein a little lower and carbs a litttle higher but overall well within range, calories included. Liquids including plain water and vits/ supplements all on target. More important than the actual numbers for the day is how I got there.
I raised the question of honest assesment of your actions so I have to answer it. I bull****ted by way through yesterday's meals. Instead of having the foods I listed or even reasonable substitutions I ate protein bars for the day like a kid bingeing on candy. I got my nutrition in and ate nothing 'bad' but this is not the way to develop positive life long eating habits. Its an extreme behavior exactly like my single food obsessions pre op where I would fixate on a limited diet. I have a lot of work to do to master these head issues. I thought I was past this already.
Second head issue of the day is my obsession with this persisten****er weight and bloating. I have as many stats and spreadsheets as NASA used to launch the first moon mission. No more *****ing about this issue, at least not in this thread. Once again, honesty or lack of it is at the root. I need to asses the details of my diet since 9/5 or there about when it all started.
The answer is in my actions. No more BAM'n (as in *****'n And Moan'n). Analyze, ask productive questions, re-asses, revise and take action. No Mercy and No Excuses!

I am just reporting in because it was a long day yesterday at the chamber auction. My food was not the best choices. Here is what I had:
B-donut and coffee
L-chili and rice
D-great northern beans and cornbread
