Hello all, I'm looking for recommendations for decent tasting protein drinks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I haven't tried the most popular ones but I hear ready to drink types taste best.  I prefer JayRobb egg white protein powder.

Its pallatable plain but I use 1 scoop per 16-20 oz of water and ice and add a drink mix single or other flavoring.  Wyler's orange and Splenda caramel coffee flavors make a creamsicle like drink.  I also use other drink mix flavors, unsweetened cocoa powder, and instant coffee crystals.

Its a little pricey at $2 per serving and also comes in the standard chocolate and strawberry.  Warning, use this protein cold only.  Add ho****er and you have scrambled egg whites in a glass.

I like the Syntrax Nectar brand, it comes in 2lb containers.  My favorites are the Roadside Lemonade, Twisted Cherry and Caribbean Cooler.  You can mix them easily in water or you can add SF drink mix to change up the flavor and give you more variety.  I couldn't stand any of the milky type protein drinks....these taste like punch.

I also like Unjury in Vanilla and Chocolate.  I use the Vanilla as creamer in my coffee or green tea. The Chocolate is good too.  I normally use the chocolate when I'm making a shake.  A scoop of powder, throw in 1/2 a banana, ice...blend it all up, there you go!  Good Stuff.

I've also changed it up by adding peanut butter or SF Andes Mints in place of the banana to give a different flavor.

Edited to add:  Don't stock up!  Things you like prior to having surgery, may be nasty to you afterwards.

One more tip... if you do choose a vanilla or chocolate one, try adding a
teaspoon or two of sugar-free jello pudding powder in before blending it.  It sweetens and thickens it and makes them taste a LOT better...

I am a fan of the pre-mixed ones because they do taste good.  I love the Oh Yeah! Vanilla cream or Bananna cream, surprisingly I don't like their chocolate. (MM turned me on to these)  I also like the  Muscle Milk drinks, all flavors

Hell No!!!!!  LOL, but the lasagna I made for the kids yesterday was smelling so good that I ran that shigidy through a food processor and had 1/2 cup for dinner tonight.  I am scared that I am not getting enough calories or water or protien in each day.  I am agressively trying but hard to get it all in.  Today I had:

Breakfast - Vitamins and a little water (running late for church so no time to eat)
Lunch - 1/2 cup of chicken breast pureed
Dinner - 1/2 cup of pureed lasagna

I normaly drink 2 protien drinks a day but between church, my long nap, and trying to eat some solids I didnt get to them.  But I still may try.

Thanks for all the responses ladies. I actually, had my surgery back in 2002. I never reached my goal. The closest I got was within 20 lbs. Now, I find myself 50 lbs. away.  What I'm trying to do on my own ain't cutting it. My surgeon is no longer in the area. And the dr. I was seeing just isn't supportive enough for me. I'm meeting with another bariatric specialist (not surgeon) next month to see where we can go from here. I'll keep you all posted.
