Yep, they met while working on Wall St together, so she's definately nobody's dummy.  Then there's an african chick who married into German nobility as well.

I bet mouths dropped in both circles when "guess who's coming to dinner" went down!

I guess it is true as they say that German and European men love and worship black women.....this proves true not only did he marry a black woman but he married a black women 11 years his senior when he could have had the cream of the crop of ANY WOMAN..LOL...

I think that she's a beautiful educated woman that happens to be black and older than him. I think she is the cream of the crop! Why would she be?

Ok...I did not want to go there, but I guess I will clarify, you know the stereotype in the USA...meaning some people even some black men think black women are not as desired as "others' when they acquire wealth or fame or born into..lol and if they have wealth or fame they tend to look for a "trophy" wife meaning someone half their age or very young or very fair skinned... and Angela did not fit that profile.....my point was.... this goes to show that beautiful classy black women are as much desired as ANY other woman or ethnic group and also black women AGE EXTREMELY WELL which I hear makes beautiful black women more desirable to many other races....

In December, 2000, I visited Switzerland for a cross-country concert tour with my choir.  Following one of our concerts, we went to dinner at a restaurant in Lichtenstein.  This restaurant sat at the bottom of the mountain top home of Prince Maximillian and his bride, Princess Angela.  It was a beautiful scene to see their castle so far above the ground...especially that late at night...absolutely breathtaking!

I understand where you are coming from; however, I wanted to say that black women marry into royalty all the time...in the Motherland and other countries...have done so for centuries...I guess because she was from the United States via Panama that it is a bit of a surprise; but the fact is, she is certainly not the first.

And she was a beautiful and professional woman in her own right...the creme of the crop, indeed.

BTW...I ABSOLUTELY DESPISE THAT WORD, "COUGAR..." DON'T KNOW WHO THOUGHT OF IT...BUT WHOEVER DID OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED TO PLACE A LABEL ON A WOMAN WHO KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS...JUST AS A MAN WOULD...MAKES NO SENSE TO ME...

Hey Donna, you are right, there are many many black women that have married mostly European men of wealth for many years you don't really hear about that as much...and I really hate that word COUGAR myself -- I guess I was making a point that he chose a beautiful black woman much older... when he could have went with the "norm" and chose a so called "trophy" bride someone that is half his age and his own color..lol...I guess I was being sarcastic.

But in any case love is beautiful, I just loved watching that video
