the game has GOT to be played better than this......

Aiight - yesterday I ran through the grocery store to get half and half - I use the UScan machine cause I #1 don't like people in general but #2 - the ghetto store in my hood has some especially foul bastids.......

anyhoo - inevitably when using this there's always some old person who doesn't even use a PC much less a touch screen and is slow, or someone who's just plain all out stupid with no age requirement or someone who's bought something that is inappropriate for the lane......

so - I walk up to one that's open - there's a dude standing at the next one.  the person ahead of him was using it and had an item that required a checker, so he was at the help stand so homie after him was thinking the machine didn't work. and.... he's stupid.

I walk up to mine and start going through the process
Him: This thang don't work
Me: It's because that guy has to clear his item
Him:So this is going to be hung up until then?
Me: yep (I've just scanned my item)
Him:Well you're pretty fast
Me: Yep (bagging item now, about to press Pay Now)
Him: Well can you get my groceries today and I'll get yours tomorrow?
Me: *mentally doing a WTF did this ignant bastid just say to me?* huh?
Him: Can you buy mines today and I'll buy yours tomorrow?

At this point - I am on auto pilot and have moved through paying for my item with my debit card and collected my receipt.
Me: I'm finished - you can use this one.......

and I walked the heyl out.  Now..... has the game REALLY gotten THIS dayum raggety?????  I have to wonder has that EVER worked on ANY trick he tried that with????  Mind you - the dude was at LEAST 50 if he was a day!!!!!

I type 70 wpm - so you know I FLEW through keying my PIN - that ish happened so fast and while he was talking he could even try to slide a box of cereal on that thing before I closed out my ticket.......

I would have gotten my receipt with a quickness too.  You seriously need to write a book (The Life and Times of #1 Mack Mama) because the situations that you encounter are killing me over here.
