Health claims is exactly why I didn't buy one. Lord knows I need binding from the knees to the chin but any girdle sold as a cure all for diseases from a-z? Well... I don't buy snake oil either.

YEP - their 2X is equal to 10/12. My compression garment is sized the same. My hips are 45''

The body magic is WAY more effective than Dr. Rey - I have to say and I LOVED my Dr. Rey's when I first got them. It's worth the money - I can't even lie about it.

I tried on the fashion body garment. It's similar to the full Body Magic but doesn't have the straps. It stops under your bra. It really is a good garment. I just hate girdles and couldn't imagine getting into it without some assistance. I second MM 'sendorsement of the product line. I just won't be buying one unless it includes a person to put it on me everyday.
