SALMON CROQUETTE (SP)
Then I dipped each croquette in dry bread crumbs.
Next I sprayed the pan once it was hot and baked the croquettes for 15min, then turned them spraying the pan again before baking the other side. The side that is down browns crisp.
Next time I will bake at 425 for 10min each side as the outside was a little more well done than I wanted. They were still moist inside.
Calorie wise there is little difference, only 10 cal more for the fried version with the recipe I used. The fried version has 4 more grams of fat than the baked.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
You can use bread crumbs like M.S.W. said or you can lightly flour and spray both sides with Pam and they come out crispy/crunchy. I have one left from my batch the day before yesterday and I must return to the store and buy more cans of salmon.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I fry mine in canola oil. But I don't batter them with bread crumbs or anything. To me - fried foods refers to the deeply battered crap from pre WLS days.
