I was invited to an out of town wedding for a past co-worker, she's a nice lady but we weren't tight hang out after work type of friends.
My question is I've looked at my budget and won't be able to attend. I recieved an invitation to her wedding shower as well. Does ettiquette call for a seperate shower and wedding gift? Or is a shower gift chosen from the registry mailed to their home sufficient?

Thanks for keeping it real! We're FB friends now and she asked for my current address and I thought I'd roll her wedding and a little Arizona vacation together, but times have been slow with work. I can't justify the expense right now since I've been cancelled for 3 shifts in the past 2 weeks.

If I ain't talk to a mofo for at LEAST 2 hrs a MONTH and that mofo know the last mofo I ****** ..... they ain't my friend....
my girls keep my 'books' - I got ADD and be forgetting mofos on 'the list'...... 
- had a "G3" summit today with em in fact. Other than them 3 hoes - it's a straight TOSS up if you get a gift from me.....
~snickering~ I wish a FB mudda*****a WOULD send me some shiot expecting me to show up AND/OR buy them some ish...... HAHA!!!!

Well there is something for nostalgia, ya know. When we did work together we had a good time. But hell that was back when I lived in AZ, and I've been back here for 2 yrs now. I pretty much figured it would be a good time to catch up with old friends-but dare I say it?.....you're right!
