2 year out and counting. Hoping/praying for the Mr. Right
You can remarry in the Catholic Church. You have to get an annulment from the Pope. I know some folks who have done it and it takes years and years to get it to go through or you pay big bucks to fast track it through. You still have to make a case for why it needs to be annuled.... Adultry, fraud, impotence or etc. What gets my goat about the whole thing is how do you turn around and annul a 30 year marriage? The children of said marriage are not considered illegimate once the marriage is annuled. There's some kind of church law that maintains their status even though the church has basically wiped their parents marriage from the books.

I am not a very religious person, but I am spiritual, there is nothing wrong with praying for things you want in life. I am firm believer that if someone live their life RIGHT most of the time we are not perfect, we will be blessed with the good things in life.
I believe if someone get educated and work hard -- they will prosper
I believe if someone takes care of their health - they WILL BE disease free, unless they are born with a disease that they cannot help.
Also remember if you are looking for a man, make sure you can bring good things to the table to get a man, being skinny does not automatically means you will get a man, in fact MOST GOOD men don't look for size, they look for other things like confidence, upbringing, how you carry yourself, education, there are LOT of things to bring to the table other than being slim when seeking a good man. Good luck hopefully you will meet the man of your dreams very soon.

HI Tishsingle28! I wish you well in finding the best-matched mate for you! Become & remain Miss Right so that Mr. Right will truly be your best match. He is out there!!
On another note, I wanted to clarify something I read earlier on in this thread.
Divorce is mentioned in the New Testament, stated in red (as Jesus' own words) in Mark 10: 11 & 12:
He said to them "whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; and if she divorces and marries another, she commits adultery".
Jesus repeats it again in in Matthew 5: 31 & 32 and there is the exception to chastity discussion of it in Matthew 19: 3-9.
Its the basis of annulment as opposed to divorce in the Catholic church.
