WHAT THE HELL IS WITH ALL THESE GRAY HAIRS, DYE QUESTION ???

Thanks for the suggestions

I have long hair, but it's whimpy and I know I would have to use to much dye and I just don't want to be bothered with it.   I have way to much hair to be trying to dye it.  I have pics on my profile,  tell me if you would want to be dying all that mess.  NOT ME

I learned about the co-washing when I first started running cause I was washing my hair to much and it was driving me crazy.

Ok, I read all the posts before I mentioned that I use Bigen hair color.  You mix it with water and I have grey at the crown and in the part just in the front of my hair.  You can use a little, like 1/4 bottle with one of their little measuring cups and put it on where you need it.  You just wa**** out and shampoo like normal.  I find that I don't have to touch it up as often.  I like the fact that it only costs $5 and one bottle will last through 3 or 4 touchups every 4-6 weeks.  I think my hair may be like yours - long, and fine.  a little goes a long way!

Hi SistahGirl

Is Bigen a rinse or a dye.   Cause after reading all the feedback and watching youtube,  I think I want a rinse cause my hair is very thin and very whimpy and I don't want harsh stuff that will make me lose even more hair that I don't have.

Bigen is a permanent dye, but it has no lye in it and it's really gentle on your hair, probably because it's mixed with jus****er.  I haven't ever lost any hair and I've been using it for a few years now.  My hair is very thin and I wear it naturally curly these days to give it some volume.  But I've never used a rinse - I don't want to deal with my hair that often either.  LOL

Nah, I wouldn't color it all, just the grays.

I explained the need for multiple bottles because I thought you had lots of hair (and you do!) only IF you wanted to color it all.  I only do that on occasion, but I faithfully keep those grays under control by coloring just the new growth & front edges; much simpler!

The Clarol is about $7/bottle at Sally's or at black hair care suppliers.

That clairol for gray sounds good.  The main reason I like JFM for beards is that there is no fade when I condition daily.  I only need fuss with the new growth.  If conditioner only does not fade it then its worth a try.  It comes in some nice colors.  Just gotta a sally's coupon too.
