I understand if you lose your home to fire it can be devastating, but what if you lose your life? Its great that some people are trying to be proactive by buying fire protection supplies, but I think the fire dept has a better chance of proteccting a home than a regular ole Joe with a water hose.
Plus how selfish of you to expect to be rescued, how dare you risk the life of 1st responders when you refuse to heed the evacuation warnings.

Happens during every disaster. Get a metal roof on a house built of cinder block and buy some flood insurance. Then when disaster strikes, lock up and run like hell. You cant fight a catastrophe that challenges even the pros.
