Tummy Tuck

Well I have decided to go under the knife.
I had a consultation yesterday for a tummy tuck.
Instead of getting a new car, LOL.  I am going to finance a tummy tuck with some lipo to shape and contour. I have exercised, my body fat is a great 13-15 %. The excess I have in my abdomen area is just skin. I won't have it until probably December, I want to save as much as I can towards it and I need to planon the time off that is required for recovery..  I have another consultation in Houston with Dr Lamonico next month.  Anyone familiar with him?  My sister worked with him as a nurse many many years ago and is a patient of his now, she gets Botox.
I am excited about it.  The doctor told me I would have a flat stomach again, A FLAT STOMACH, what is that? I have NEVER had a flat stomach, I have been chubby my entire childhood/life.
I will keep everyone informed.
Barbara

Good luck on the tummy tuck.  I said no more going under the knife for me.  Having the Lap Band revision has me a little knife shy now.

Working on me - want to be better in everyway not just physically!!!  Its a process no time to judge or be judged!!!!

Good for you.   Lord knows I'll be needing one but it scares the
**** out a me.  Not the surgery itself just all those stitches.

If I do have plastics It will be whole hog for the lower body lift.  My ass looks like a charpe's face and I don't like to think about these thighs.  I'll be following you through the process.

It took my punk azz 6 years post-op to have enough nerves to go back under the knife. I financed my tummy tuck last year and that is one bill I don't mind paying every month.

I LOVE LOVE my flat tummy and if I was 10 years younger I will walk around freely and show my tummy. No more RNY and Gallbladder scars.. I LOVE IT

Thanks for the encouragement Rhonda,
Let me ask you is your scaring from the tummy tuck fading with time?

Yes the scaring is going away. I had a extended tummy tuck (cut from hip to hip at the bikini line) the ONLY way you can tell I had a tummy tuck is if I was totally nude.

Wowo Mrs. Rhonda I had no idea about that!!! I thought I'd be stuck with these nasty scars all my life, I looked at my tummy in the mirror today and got really sad, When I finish losing I'll go under the knife just for that..lol

I always knew there was a skinny person hiding inside of me..
