Girls vs. GROWN Women

Girls want to control the man in their life.

GROWN women know that if he's truly hers, he doesn't need controlling.

Girls check you constantly for not calling them.

GROWN women are usually too busy to realize you hadn't.

Girls are afraid to be alone.

GROWN women are not. They use this as a time for personal growth.

Girls ignore the good guys.

GROWN women ignore the bad guys.

Girls make you come home.

GROWN women make you want to come home.

Girls fight other females claiming "you took my man".

GROWN women know that he isn't worth the trouble & no one can "take" anyone, he chose to leave!

Girls leave their schedule wide-open and wait for a guy to call and make plans.

GROWN women make their own plans and nicely tell the guy to get in where he fits.

Girls worry about not being pretty and/or good enough for their man.

GROWN women know that they are pretty and/or good enough for any man, flaws & all!

Girls try to monopolize all their man's time (i.e., don't want him hanging with his friends).

GROWN women realize that a lil' bit of space makes the 'together time' even more special - and goes to kick it with her own friends.

Girls think a guy crying is weak.

GROWN women offer their shoulder and a tissue while understanding that he's still human.

Girls want to be spoiled and 'tell' their man so.

GROWN women 'show' him and make him comfortable enough to splurge on her, without fear of losing his 'manhood'.

Girls get hurt by one man and make all men pay for it.

GROWN women know that HE was just one man (and know that if they stop shopping in the same store, they will stop picking the same man).

Girls fall in love and chase aimlessly after the object of their affection, IGNORING all 'signs'.

GROWN women know that sometimes the one you love, don't always love you back- and know they must move on, without bitterness.

Girls will read this and unwisely get an attitude

GROWN women will read this and pass it on to other GROWN women and their male friends

See, now all we need is some sort of signifyer to know which is which BEFORE engaging in said encounters.  Kind of like a sign on the forhead that says:
     "Hi there.  I still have some maturing/growing to do.  Unless you're like-minded, I'm NOT to be touched.  Ruunnnnnnnn in the other direction.  This has been a public service announcement. Thank you." 

I realize that's a lot to put on someone's forehead (though some have HUGE 4heads), but i'm sure with modification, it can be shortened.  lol

AMEN!!!!!!!!   Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!  I have passed this on to a few GROWN women friends whom I know will appreciate it and passed it on to even more girls that I know who are perpetrating as grown women who need it desperately!!!!
