Last year in June I went to a 70's party and in October I went to a 20's party.  I dressed up for both occasions.  This year my friend that had the 20's party last October is having a Halloween Ball it is not themed you just dress up and party.  When I have discussed this with a few associates they give me weird stares like your a Christian you should not be dressing up in costumes.  I let them know I do not celebrate anything evil but I enjoy the fun of dressing up for different gatherings my friends have. What is your thoughts on this? To me it is not a matter of religion it is a matter of some people judging others as if Christians can not go out and have fun.  I have fun and behave accordingly when ever I go out. Also since  I feel and look better I can not wait to dress up in my sexy yet classy costume.

You can't please everybody.  Do what makes you happy.  People are going to think whatever they want to think anyway.

Dressing up in the bedroom with your SO is fine but dressing up to celebrate some sort of evil "nasty-mon ting is a no-no..." in my book.

I don't see anything wrong with it.  I'm excited for Halloween this year because I'll be able to get a regular size costume and I plan on wearing that thing when I take the kids out trick or treating.

you are right. I also don't see anything wrong with having a little fun. It's all about keeping up the spirit of halloween. What is so different from the 70's party. The same people that would tur down the halloween party would dress up at the 70's party. It's the same thing. Halloween IMO isn't about monsters and ghost. Although some people may think differently. I think It's dressing up, eating sweets and having fun for a day geesh I wish America would lighten the hell up.

Religions Baby, I wasn't going to say anything but NOW, I just have to. PLEASE believe in your heart that it is NOT God that established these sets of rules we follow in various religions. This is a personal relationship that you have with God. I had the honor of meeting you and I can't imagine a kinder, gentler, more harmless spirit than yourself. Your faith is a constant garment that you wear very well. BE YOURSELF! Look into your own heart and faith and know that "Doing you" is exactly what God wants you to do. You will be fabulous. I see you in Cleopatra. Ya'll kinda favor. Bet.

Your friend,
Christine
