OH Featured My Sister in this Month's Magazine

She is featured in the September/October Edition, Wasn't that a wonderful thing for them to do. Tammy Colter had contacted me a couple of months ago and asked if I would mind if they profiled her. Apparently she has been very supportive of causes such as missing kids. Of course, I said that I would not mind. We will take all of the exposure we can get.  I was waiting for word and had not received any copies.  Thanks to Faith T and Mrs Rhonda for letting me know and for sending me the scanned article and copy of the magazine. I really appreciate it! I tried to paste the article here but the editor will not allow me. Basically, its the same thing that I have as my signature..only its in the Community Section of the magazine. 

As for the actual case, The Detective is working directly with the ecosearch team. I don't know all the details yet...but they are in preparation. I am just trying to be patient.

You're welcome.  I am happy to see your sister's case get the additional exposure.

Its definitely a good thing Faith T...it also will highlight the plight of missing and exploited kids as a whole.  Sometimes its so easy for us not relate when it has not touched our lives but there are a lot of kids suffering out there...we just need to pray for them and hope that they may also be returned to their loved ones...dead or alive so that they can begin to heal. Thanks for your support.

Great news M! and everytime I do come on BAF...and see your signature and really feel bad for your family. I pray that you all find your sis. My neighbor went missing when I was about 14. Two years later she was found in the woods less than 3 miles from our house (her house too)....though everyone was hurt and angry....her family stated, "they had closure"....her boyfriend did it and he is still incarcerated,

Yes...I agree Dedee! I am seeing another layer to OH. While they are mainly concerned with Obesity...they are aware and concerned with all the underlying issues as well...issues that are important to our communities.  

In my heart, I know that my sisters boyfriend killed her...yet he walks free.  If it takes my last breathe, I am determined to see justice.  God...I can only wish that one day...that she is returned to us,...one way or the other so that this torment can end.

Next month I will be doing my yearly training for NCMEC...we will be going to DC to tour the headquarters....from the call center to the forensics lab. It does help me to do work in my sisters name that helps other families.
