ok whose gonna tell the truth?!
I dont' have sodas often but when I do it is usually diet and I will from time to time have a "fat" i.e. regular soda.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I stopped drinking all soda a year before surgery. It was just something that I wanted to cut out and I did. The irony is, that my employer supplies all types of flavors in 2 fully stocked fridges! I had to stop. It was getting out of control. They also supply bottled water. I made the switch to water and haven't looked back. So, I haven't had the struggle others do with qutting sodas after surgery.
I don't care for soda. In the last 12 years I'm sure I haven't dranks soda more than 20 times so thank goodness that won't be a problem for me. I used to however have a deep addiction to Carb. Water, Pellagrino in particular. I quit it about 9 months ago. I also stopped drinking beers & champagnes becaue I had heard that the carb water & the light beers may have assisted in my recent weight gain.
I figure once I'm allowed to drink I'll stick to wines & the occasional mojito margarita & martini. As far as regular drinks it was difficult to give up Pellagrino at 1st but now I've come to accept bottled water & Snapple Diet Tea.
